About Tracy Caillouet
Tracy Caillouet is a fantasy author whose superpowers change daily depending on her mood and what world she’s daydreaming about. With two completed manuscripts and another on the way, she is blazing a trail to becoming published. Her work received third place in the Historical Romance category at a regional conference in 2025. The struggle to overcome unsurmountable odds, good vs evil, personal development, perseverance, friendship, and love are many of the themes commonly found in her stories.
Tracy is a nurse, but has also worked as a surgical technologist, trained to fly helicopters, traveled around the country, even parts of the world. She is an active member in a medieval-themed organization. When a costume concept morphed into a character, the small spark of casually writing ignited into a roaring fire, compelling her to create one manuscript after another.
While most kids watched Disney or Nickelodeon, Tracy grew up watching Airwolf, Buck Rogers, and Dragonball Z. Movies like Aliens, Predator, and Terminator were a staple in her viewing repertoire, influencing much of her thoughts while she played outside. In her early adult life, she was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons while working in a gaming store, as well as a plethora of books that expanded her mind into the realm of fantasy. While others talked about sports, designer clothing, or cars, she daydreamed of riding a dragon, winning an impossible battle, or being able to move things with her mind.
Residing in the quiet, south-central region of the United States, Tracy lives with her husband, who lovingly supports her. He knows by the intensity on her face, and the constant clacking of computer keys, whether it’s safe to approach or not. Lately, it hasn’t been, unless he has coffee.
